Wayne Bishop Jr.

Wayne Bishop Jr. currently holds the position of Vice President, Industry Outreach & Strategy at Quanta Technology, LLC since April 2022, having previously served as Senior Director of Industry Outreach. Wayne has been involved with the IEEE Power & Energy Society since June 2011, contributing as a member of the Long Range Planning Committee and serving as Vice President of Conferences and Meetings from January 2019 to January 2024. Prior experience includes leading marketing efforts for OMICRON electronics in North America and holding multiple managerial roles at Doble Engineering over a span of 16 years. Wayne holds an MBA from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, a Graduate Certificate in Management from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College.
