Omid Najari

Omid Najari has worked in the field of RFIC design since 2009. In 2009, they completed a master thesis at ST-Ericsson. In 2012, they began working as an RF/Analog IC Design Engineer at NXP Semiconductors (Catena Wireless Electronics AB), where they designed analog/RFIC for wireless standards such as WIFI and Bluetooth. In 2017, they moved to Ericsson, where they worked as a Senior RFIC Design Engineer. In this role, they designed mmWave ICs for 5G applications, built blocks for 5G transceivers in CMOS, SOI and Bi-CMOS process nodes, and created standalone verification test-benches to verify performance of the blocks. In 2022, they began working as a Principal RFIC Design Engineer Apprentice at QuantalRF.

Omid Najari completed a Master's degree in Electrical, Communication Electronics from Linköping University between 2008 and 2010. Omid then went on to pursue a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Linköping University from 2010 to 2012. Omid later completed an Industrial PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2018.
