Ray Meyer

Ray Meyer is an accomplished engineer specializing in optical and opto-mechanical systems, with extensive experience in single-molecule detection technologies. At Quanterix, Ray Meyer has held multiple key roles, including Lead Research Engineer, Principal Opto-Mechanical Engineer, and Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer, focusing on single molecule ELISA immunoassays since June 2010. Previously, from 2002 to 2010, Ray Meyer served as Principal Optical Engineer at US Genomics, where work centered on designing, building, and testing optical systems for single-molecule fluorescence detection, particularly for microbe identification via DNA sequencing. Ray Meyer holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
