Sibu Tshabalala

Sibu Tshabalala has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Starting in 1994, Tshabalala worked at Ziff-Davis Publishing Company as a Project & Application Development Manager and later as a Project Lead. In 1999, Tshabalala joined PictureTel Corporation as an Enterprise Services Division Manager.

In 1999, Tshabalala moved to San Francisco Chronicle as a Manager of Advertising & Online Systems. From 2004 to 2005, Tshabalala worked as a Consultant/Contractor at Pro-SAAP, Solutions LLC.

From 2005 to 2010, Tshabalala held various roles at NY Times, including SAP Integration and SAP MSD Configurator. In 2010, Tshabalala joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Project Leader in Global Applications Information Technology.

From 2011 to 2013, Tshabalala worked at Merck Millipore as the Head of ERP Applications. In 2014, Tshabalala joined PerkinElmer, Inc. as a Director of Information Technology, Business Relationship Management & Americas SAP Delivery Leader.

In 2021, Tshabalala moved to Hologic, Inc. as a Director of IS Service COE, responsible for driving technology strategy and leading strategic initiatives for Hologic's Service business.

Currently, Tshabalala is the Vice President, IT Business Partner at Quanterix, where they lead the IT team and collaborate on development and execution of technology roadmap to enable the company's overall business goals and objectives.

Throughout their career, Tshabalala has demonstrated expertise in IT management, business relationship management, and driving technology strategy to support enterprise growth and operational efficiency.

Sibu Tshabalala has studied Distributed Computer Environments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They have also attained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and have studied Customer Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand.
