Christopher Giauque

Laboratory Director at Quantgene

Christopher Giauque has extensive work experience in the field of laboratory management and molecular diagnostics. Christopher is currently the Laboratory Director at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Quantgene, HealthX, Xenomics Massachusetts Labs, and Golden Lab, all since 2022. Prior to these positions, they served as a Clinical Laboratory Manager at Intermountain Healthcare from 2018 to 2022, overseeing precision genomics. Christopher also worked as a Clinical Variant Scientist at ARUP Laboratories from 2017 to 2018. In addition, Christopher held multiple roles at Castle Medical, LLC from 2016 to 2017, including Head of Molecular Diagnostics, where they managed a team, redesigned the NGS bioinformatics pipeline, and introduced new technologies. Christopher also worked as a Lecturer at Kennesaw State University from August to December 2016. Christopher has also contributed to Dixie State University as an Advisory Committee Member for their Medical Laboratory Science Program from 2018 to 2022.

Christopher Giauque earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Dartmouth College. Christopher attended Dartmouth College from 2008 to 2016. In addition to their Ph.D., they obtained a certification as a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) from the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) in November 2021. Christopher also holds a certification as a Specialist in Molecular Biology from ASCP, which they obtained in December 2016.
