Marieke Geessinck

Marieke Geessinck has a diverse work experience. Marieke is currently working as an R&D Engineer at Quantib since March 2022. Before that, they worked as a Researcher in Robotics and Mechatronics at the University of Twente from July 2021 to March 2022. Marieke also has experience as a Graduate intern in Biomedical Engineering at Deventer Ziekenhuis from November 2020 to July 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Junior customer services specialist at Thuisbezorgd.nl from May 2020 to June 2021 and as an Intern in Biomedical Engineering at Nedap healthcare from August 2020 to November 2020. Marieke also worked as an Employee in the Nature & Technology theme pool at Pre-U/University of Twente from March 2019 to October 2020. Furthermore, they had roles in the Open days team at the University of Twente from November 2015 to November 2019. Marieke gained customer service experience as a Customer Services Agent at Thuisbezorgd.nl from February 2017 to June 2018 and as a Studycoach and tutor at StudieQ, where they assisted students with their planning and homework questions in science subjects from November 2015 to April 2017. Marieke also had a short-term student internship in the Trauma department at Radboudumc in November 2017.

Marieke Geessinck has a strong background in biomedical engineering and technical medicine. Marieke obtained their Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Twente between the years 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Medicine at the same university from 2015 to 2018.

Marieke'seducation history traces back to their secondary education at S.G. Marianum, where they pursued a curriculum focused on natural sciences, technology, and health from 2009 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Marieke holds a certification in Radiation Protection Expertise, which they obtained from Radschool in December 2019.
