Sonia Brodie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical research and psychedelic science. Currently serving as the National Research Committee Lead for MAPS Canada since October 2023, Sonia also co-founded and directs the Psychedelic Data Society, which focuses on managing a global harm reduction initiative aimed at enhancing psychedelic science and drug policy reform. In addition, Sonia holds the position of VP Clinical Research at the Centre for Neurology Studies and has served as an advisor for Quantified Citizen. Prior roles include Vice President of Services at Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic and various positions at HealthTech Connex Inc. and the Pediatric Anesthesiology Research Team. Sonia possesses a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta, along with certification as a Clinical Research Professional.
