Amitabh Mall

Amitabh Mall was appointed Managing Director of Q-Retail in July 2021. In this role, Amitabh helps build a globally leading retail analytics capability by combining the best of Quantium’s data science and product capabilities with the retail experience of Woolworths Group. Amitabh is concurrently the Chief Analytics Officer of Woolworths Group where he drives the advanced analytics agenda for the Group.

Prior to this, Amitabh was a Senior Partner & Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he most recently led their Consumer and Retail practice in Asia-Pacific. In a career spanning 20 years at BCG, Amitabh advised leading retailers and consumer companies across Australia, North America and Asia. He has worked extensively in the area of transformation, powered by digital and analytics capabilities.

Amitabh holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
