Kevin Smart

Kevin Smart has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kevin most recently worked as the Executive Manager - HR Business Partnering at Quantium starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the HR Partner in the Agile HR Team at Westpac Group from September 2020 to December 2022. Kevin also worked briefly as a Human Resources Business Partner at icare NSW in July and August 2020.

Kevin held the role of Head of HR, APAC at Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) from August 2018 to September 2019. Kevin then worked at Commonwealth Bank as the Executive Manager - Human Resources - Wealth Management from July 2015 to August 2018.

Before that, Kevin held positions such as National Human Resources Manager at Norton Rose Fulbright from June 2014 to July 2015, and in Human Resources at Digital Glue from April 2013 to June 2014. Kevin also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at BlueArc Group from June 2013 to November 2013.

Prior to this, Kevin gained extensive experience at Macquarie Group, where they held various roles including HR Director, Information Technology & Market Operations from May 2005 to May 2012. Kevin also served as a Senior Manager in IT Recruitment, Central Recruitment & Careers, and Employee Relations (secondment) roles within the company. Additionally, they worked as an HR Project Manager and Recruitment Manager, Information Technology during their time at Macquarie Group.

Kevin's career began as a Human Resources Executive at McQueen Limited in August 1996. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in HR business partnering, transformation, agile HR, and recruitment across a range of industries.

Kevin Smart obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Modern History from The University of Edinburgh, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Following that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at Edinburgh Napier University from 1992 to 1993. Additionally, they have earned certifications as an Organisational Coach Level One from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) in July 2020 and as a Certified Practitioner in Hogan HPI, HDS, and MVPI inventories from Hogan Assessment Systems in May 2020.
