Neil Wester

Neil Wester has a long and varied work experience. Neil began their career in 2002 as an Intellectual Property Consultant for IP Consulting. In 2007, they became the Worldwide Applications Development Manager for ASML BV. In 2008, they moved to Oerlikon Solar AG as the Worldwide Manager of Fab Reporting & Failure Analysis. In 2010, they joined Oxford Instruments - Technologies and Devices Inc (TDI) as the General Manager. In 2012, they became the Executive Manager of Compound Semiconductor Products for Silanna Semiconductor Pty Ltd. In 2016, they began working as a Self-employed Consultant for Business Evaluation/Engineering Analysis/Project Development. In 2017, they joined Facebook Reality Labs as the Engineering & Operations Manager. In 2019, they became the Operations Manager for the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. In 2021, they started working as the Head of Fabrication for Quantum Brilliance and as the Research & Development Engineering Manager for Baraja.

Neil Wester received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Material Science and Engineering from Arizona State University, followed by a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) in Material Science and Engineering from the same institution.
