Fabio Ansaloni

Fabio Ansaloni's work experience begins with their current role as a Research Scientist at Quantum Machines, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Scienziato sviluppo prodotti at QDevil starting in March 2022.

From January 2021 to March 2022, Fabio served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Princeton University, working on the development of flip-chip technology for spin qubits in the field of quantum computing. Their research focused on achieving strong coupling between microwave photons and single electron spins.

From November 2016 to January 2021, Fabio worked as a PhD student at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. Fabio studied the operation of Si/SiGe double and triple quantum dot devices as spin qubits, specifically focusing on demonstrating two-qubit gates in scalable geometries. Fabio utilized fast gate control and spin-to-charge conversion for qubit manipulation and read-out, respectively.

In 2016, Fabio also worked as a Student at the High Field Magnet Laboratory (HFML), where they investigated the magnetotransport properties of graphene. Fabio specialized in the production and design of hBN/graphene/hBN Van der Waals heterostructures for high magnetic field research.

Fabio's earliest work experience dates back to 2014 when they worked as a Student at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste. During this time, they conducted a study on the M4 and M5 edges of CeO_2 with Ag or Cu dopants, using XPS and XANES techniques for analysis.
