Nikola Šibalić is currently a Product Manager and Quantum Software Engineer at Quantum Machines, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Marie Curie (IF) Postdoctoral Researcher at Institut d'Optique Graduate School from 2018-2021, where they conducted research in dense dipolar systems and Rydberg atoms, and was the author of ResearchX3D collaborative platform for sharing scientific heritage. Nikola was a Postdoc at Aarhus University from 2017-2018, a PhD student at Durham University from 2013-2017, and an Undergraduate Student Researcher at University of Belgrade from 2010-2013. From 2009-2010, they were an Assistant Teacher at Mathematical highschool, Belgrade, where they prepared students for Physics competitions and taught advanced approaches. Nikola was also a Member of marking commission at Physics High School competitions.
Nikola Šibalić began their education in 2005 at the Mathematical High School in Belgrade. Nikola then went on to attend the Faculty of Physics at the University of Belgrade, graduating in 2013 with a BSc (with honours) in Theoretical and Experimental Physics. Nikola followed this up with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Durham University, which they completed in 2017. Prior to their secondary education, Nikola attended Vuk Karadžić Primary School.
