David Litt

Senior Scientist, Physical And Materials Chemistry at Quantum-Si

David Litt's work experience includes roles at various companies and research institutions.

From 2022 onwards, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Quantum-Si, specializing in Surface Chemistry and Assay Development.

Prior to that, David worked at Intel Corporation from 2017 to 2022 as a Sr Process Engineer. Their responsibilities included process engineering in electron-beam lithography and temperature controlled stockers, as well as applying statistical process control (SPC) to factory processes.

From 2012 to 2017, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley's Chemical Biology Program, conducting research in the A. Paul Alivisatos lab.

During their undergraduate years from 2010 to 2012, David worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Brown University, focusing on the synthesis and application of nanoparticles in Professor Shouheng Sun's lab.

In 2011, they participated in the Summer Internship Program at NASA Glenn Research Center, specifically on the Chemical Species Gas Sensors Team.

Starting their career in 2007, David had a Science Internship at the Cleveland Clinic, where they conducted a clinical study on bladder cancer test outcomes, which were subsequently published in the journal Urology.

David Litt's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Brown University. David earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with Honors in Materials Chemistry from Brown University in 2012. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Chemistry. David completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley in 2017.
