Feixiang Luo's work experience started in 2011 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University. They worked in both Professor Eric Garfunkel's group and the Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry, focusing on surface and interface analysis, film deposition methods, nano-lithography, photoresists, fuel cells, solar cells, and electrolyzers. They also served as a Teaching Assistant for courses in General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Instrumental Analysis Lab.
In 2012, Feixiang joined the Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry as a Graduate Student, where they continued their research until 2016.
From 2016 to 2019, Feixiang worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Engineer, specifically as the Lithography layer owner.
In 2019, they transitioned to Quantum-Si as a Senior Scientist, and their current role there is undisclosed.
Feixiang Luo completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Xiamen University from 2007 to 2011. Feixiang then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Surface Science, Semiconductor, Material Characterization at Rutgers University from 2011 to 2016. In 2017 and 2018, they completed the Machine Learning & Deep Learning Specialization (Andrew Ng) from Coursera. Additionally, Feixiang Luo obtained various certifications from Coursera in Machine Learning, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
