Tim Diefenthaler

Tim Diefenthaler is an experienced sales executive with a strong background in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales and corporate account management. Currently serving as Area VP OEM Sales at Quantum since November 2018, Tim previously held the position of Vice President Corporate Accounts at Xyratex, where responsibilities included developing key relationships, managing account profitability and loss, defining business models, and influencing product roadmaps based on customer requirements. Tim's prior roles include Senior Director OEM EMEA Sales at Seagate Technology and Senior Director of Professional Products at Gateway, along with various leadership positions at Penguin Computing, Dell Computer, and IBM. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
