Willem Dirven

As Quantum’s Chief Information Officer and Chief of Staff, Willem leads the IT department responsible for building, maintaining and protecting Quantum’s internal IT infrastructure, and oversees the corporate program management office coordinating cross functional activities supporting the implementation of Quantum’s global strategy and vision, including new product introductions and M&A integrations. Willem joined Quantum in November 2018 as the Head of Internal Audit.

Prior to Quantum, Willem was the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance at eBay and implemented the channel compliance program at Juniper Networks. Willem started his career as an IT auditor/consultant with KPMG in the Netherlands followed by KPMG USA in San Francisco, CA.

Willem holds a master’s degree in Business Economics and Information Sciences from Tilburg University, The Netherlands. He also studied at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.
