Kalyan Kanakamedala

Kalyan Kanakamedala, Ph.D., serves as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at QuantumScape since March 2022, with a focus on advancing solid-state lithium-metal battery technology for electric vehicles. Prior to this role, Kalyan held the position of Senior Product Engineer in Process Integration at Micron Technology from March 2016 to March 2022. Kalyan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Louisiana State University, completed in March 2016, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, attained in 2008.
