Jens de Roover

Jens De Roover has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Jens started their career in 2007 as a Finance Assistant at Technum-Tractebel Engineering. Jens then worked as a Management Trainee at Colruyt Group in 2010. In 2011, they joined OM Partners as a Project Controller. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Controller at Tomorrowland. In 2017, they joined Quares as a Business Analyst and later took on the role of Finance & IT Manager from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are serving as the CFO at Quares, a position they have held since April 2022. Additionally, Jens De Roover is the owner of Sophistica since April 2022.

Jens De Roover's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Sint-Rita College Kontich, where they pursued a degree in Economics-Mathematics until 2001. Jens then enrolled at the University of Antwerp from 2001 to 2007, earning a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering with a focus on Finance. In 2006, they participated in a Summer Program on International Economics at Georgetown University. More recently, from 2021 to 2023, Jens attended Vlerick Business School, undertaking an Executive Master Class in Corporate Finance. In 2022, they also completed additional courses at Vlerick Business School, specializing in Creating Value Through M&A and Venture Capital and Private Equity.
