Shawna Turbyfill, ATC, MTC

BDE Lead ATC at QuarterLine

Shawna Turbyfill is an experienced ATC and MTC with a diverse work history. Shawna currently serves as the BDE Lead ATC for QuarterLine Consulting Services, LLC, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Tactical Athletic Trainer for FSR (Federal Staffing Resources) from July 2019 to December 2021.

Shawna'sprevious experience includes being an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bryant University from August 2011 to July 2019, where they provided healthcare and training to student-athletes on the Men's Basketball and Women's Lacrosse teams. Shawna also documented injuries, conducted rehabilitative processes, and managed the athletic training room schedule. Before that, Shawna worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Gwynedd-Mercy College from August 2010 to August 2011 and as a Certified Athletic Trainer at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2009 to May 2010.

Additionally, Shawna has experience as a Certified Massage Therapist for Dr. David Nadler, where they were a Team Therapist for the Philadelphia KiXX (MISL) and the Philadelphia Wings (NLL), as well as covering the 2008 Table Tennis Olympic Trials. Shawna provided one-on-one muscle relaxation and stretching techniques to clients during their tenure.

Furthermore, Shawna served as the 2nd Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at the University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2009.

Shawna Turbyfill, ATC, MTC has a diverse educational background. Shawna obtained their Associate's degree in General Studies from Garrett College, where they attended from 2001 to 2002. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training at Catawba College from 2003 to 2005. Shawna then furthered their education by enrolling in Temple University, where they completed their Master's of Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology from 2006 to 2008.
