Ian Marquette

Ian Marquette has extensive work experience in the field of design, with a focus on product and user experience design. Ian is currently working as the Lead Product Designer at Quartermaster Inc. since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Proposify from April 2019 to December 2021 as a Product Designer, where they employed UX research methods and worked under the direction of their Product Manager to design roadmap features and improvements. Ian also assisted the development team by preparing design files and detailed notes.

Before joining Proposify, Ian held the position of Senior Designer at Peerplays Blockchain Standards Association from August 2018 to April 2019. During this time, they led product design and successfully launched two complex blockchain-powered products. Ian also contributed significantly to the design system, enhancing efficiency and consistency across products.

Ian has also worked as a Freelance UX Designer and Front-End Developer from January 2018 to May 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Senior UI Designer & Strategist at The REDspace from March 2016 to December 2017, where they researched, prototyped, and designed large-scale apps for enterprise customers. Ian also led user testing efforts and provided usability consulting on projects.

Before joining The REDspace, Ian worked as a UI Designer at Citrus Mobile Solutions (TxT2Look Inc.) from November 2013 to May 2014. Ian also had their own self-employed web design and front-end development business under the name Ian Marquette from January 2012 to May 2014.

Ian Marquette began their career as an Interactive & Graphic Designer at FibreFab from June 2011 to January 2012. Ian also served as the Principal & Creative Director at GlazedEye Media from January 2002 to June 2011.

Ian Marquette attended the University of the Arts London from 1996 to 1997, where they earned a Diploma in Illustration & Computer Graphics. Ian then enrolled at London South Bank University from 1997 to 2001 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Media Special Effects.
