Tosha Wetterneck

Tosha Wetterneck's work experience includes serving as the Medical Director for Policy Development & Government Services at Quartz Health Solutions since March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Associate Medical Director for Medical Policy Development at the same company from April 2017 to March 2023. Tosha has also worked as a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health since June 2018. Before that, they worked at UW Health as a General Internist from July 1999 to the present, and as the Medical Director for Patient Safety from January 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they have served as a Researcher at the Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement at UW-Madison since 2003, and as a Physician at the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation since 1999. Tosha was the Chair of the Wisconsin Delegation for the American Medical Association starting in 2016. Tosha was an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health from July 2006 to June 2018. Tosha also served as a Board Member for the Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health from 2005 to 2017, and as the President of the Wisconsin Medical Society from April 2012 to April 2013.

Tosha Wetterneck obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the years 1988 to 1991. Tosha then went on to pursue a medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 1991 to 1995, earning their MD in Medicine. Continuing their education, Tosha completed their Master of Science in Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their educational background, they have an unspecified certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
