Farzam Baradarani

Farzam Baradarani, M.Sc., P.Eng. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Team Lead and Project Manager at Quasar Consulting Group since August 2020. Previously, Farzam held the position of CAD/BIM/Trimble Manager at Symtech Innovations Ltd. from February 2018 to August 2020 and worked as a Design Coordinator and Supervisor at Modern Niagara between August 2016 and February 2018. Prior academic roles include Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Western Ontario, with a focus on power system protection and electric power systems. Farzam’s early experience includes a Research Associate role at Hydro One, contributing to studies on islanded distribution systems with energy storage. Farzam holds a Master of Engineering Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
