Phil Ridley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Phil is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Quasar Satellite Technologies Pty Ltd since March 2021. Prior to this, Phil worked as the Founder & Director of IoT Factory Lty Ltd, where they developed cutting-edge intelligent control technologies. Phil founded this company in November 2014 and was responsible for the flagship products Sensr and Chop.
From March 2019 to March 2021, Phil worked as a Partner, Technology at Partners in Performance, where they played a key role in digital transformation projects globally. Before that, they served as the CIO of Mojo Power from March 2015 to March 2019. Phil also had a significant tenure at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Chief Technologist and Strategist for Major Accounts from July 2014 to August 2016. During this time, they were involved with Mojo Power as a member of their advisory board.
Prior to these roles, Phil worked as a Consultant and CIO at Australian Power & Gas from September 2011 to July 2014. Phil implemented a business transformation plan based on economic modeling and advanced analytics, driving rapid growth for the company. Before that, they were the CTO of ubowireless, a multi-award winning enterprise real-time analytics and business efficiency suite, from January 2006 to October 2011.
In their early career, Phil held the position of CTO at Seven Network Limited/Unwired from December 2003 to October 2011, where they led technology transitions and advised senior executives. Phil played a vital role in the strategic exploitation of the Ubowireless business unit. Phil also had a brief tenure as a CTO & GM Technical Operations at Unwired Australia from December 2003 to January 2006, where they established and managed technical operations for the national wireless broadband carrier.
Additionally, in 2009, Phil received recognition for their work as the winner of the Bradfield Award in Engineering Excellence from the Institute of Engineers Australia. Phil'sproject focused on real-time nonlinear control systems on a 4G broadband network.

Phil Ridley has a Grad Dip in Management (marketing, finance & law) from Deakin University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Phil also holds a BE (Hons) in Computer Engineering from the University of Newcastle, completed between 1988 and 1993. Additionally, they completed an AssDip in Digital and Analog Electronics from RMIT University from 1985 to 1987. Phil Ridley is a Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust) in Engineering, starting from 2006. Phil has also completed a Company Director's Course (GAICD) from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Furthermore, they hold a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) from Sydney Aviators.
