Frazer Davies

Frazer Davies is a Quantitative Research Director specializing in meteorology and weather at Qube Research & Technologies since November 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Meteorologist and Production Analyst at COFCO International from November 2017 to October 2023, where responsibilities involved communicating global weather forecasts and applying academic research to enhance trading performance. At Northpool B.V., from September 2015 to October 2017, Davies excelled as an Energy Trading Meteorologist, developing proprietary trading tools including wind and solar production models across Europe. Initial experience included a role as Weather and Commodity Analyst at Cargill, providing forecasts for cocoa production and creating a cocoa production forecasting model. Davies holds a PhD in Climate Modelling from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an MSc in Climate Change and Risk Management from the University of Exeter, and a BSc in Geography from the University of Liverpool.
