Frédérique Couette

Frédérique Couette currently serves as Directrice, Affaires réglementaires - radiodiffusion at Québecor since March 2022. Previously, Couette held several key positions at Copibec from September 2004 to June 2021, including Directrice générale, where responsibilities involved restructuring the organization amidst revenue declines and legal uncertainties, as well as leading strategic realignment efforts. Other roles at Copibec included Directrice juridique, overseeing legal matters and participating in lobbying strategies, and Conseillère juridique, providing legal advice and representing the organization at conferences. Prior experience includes an internship at Bell's litigation group and research assistance at Université de Montréal. Educational qualifications include degrees in law from Université de Montréal, University of Ottawa, and Université de Montpellier, as well as a mediation degree from MédiationSophilex and training in effective management from Cégep de Saint-Laurent.
