Patrick Redmond has extensive experience in supporting young adults with disabilities in educational and residential settings, currently serving as the Student Support Manager for Communications and Technology at Queen Alexandra College since November 1992. Responsibilities include managing services related to Speech and Language Therapy, Assistive Technology, Learning Resources, Visual Impairment, and Braille. Previously, Patrick held various roles at the college, including Senior Practitioner in Mobility Development and Assistive Technology, as well as Mobility Officer, Travel Trainer, and Access to Work Assessor. Earlier professional experience includes working as a Mobility Officer and Movement Instructor at Sense from July 1990 to September 1994. Patrick holds a Master of Education in Autism (Adults) from the University of Birmingham, obtained between 2013 and 2015, and a Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from the same institution, completed in 1990.
