Allyson McLaughlin

Allyson McLaughlin has experience as a Third Grade Teacher at Queen Creek Unified School District, starting in July 2021. In this role, they provided direct instruction in reading, science, and mathematics, following Arizona state standards and curriculum. Allyson collaborated with faculty and staff to discuss AVID strategies and enhance student rigor. Additionally, they established daily lesson expectations and essential questions. Allyson McLaughlin's education history starts in 2012 when they attended Oswego High School and graduated in 2016. Following high school, they enrolled in the University of Indianapolis in 2016 but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study. Allyson then transferred to North Central College in 2017 and successfully completed their degree in Special Education with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching in 2020.
