Julie Dainard-Lerch's work experience includes various roles in education and a telephone operator position. Julie started working at Brigham Young University in 1989 as a Telephone Operator and worked there until 1992. From 1992 to 2002, they worked as a Teacher at Desert View High School. In 1998, they started their own business, Creative Kids Piano Studio, where they worked as the Owner and Piano Teacher. In 2013, they joined Benjamin Franklin High School as a High School Teacher and worked there until 2021. Additionally, they worked at Gilbert Public Schools as a High School Teacher from 2015 to 2021. Currently, they are employed as a High School English Teacher at Queen Creek Unified School District from 2021 onwards.

Julie Dainard-Lerch started their education journey in 1984 when they attended Brigham Young University - Idaho. However, the specific degree or field of study pursued during that time is unknown. From 1985 to 1992, they studied Theatre Arts Education with a focus on Secondary Education at Brigham Young University. Later in 2000 to 2001, Julie pursued Teaching Recertification at the University of Phoenix, focusing on Special Education Certification hours. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Rio Salado College to obtain a Cross-categorical Certification in Special Education.
