Alumni Engagement Coordinator, FSE at Queen Mary University

The Alumni Engagement Coordinator (FSE) at Queen Mary University, New role has had a long and successful career in academia. New role has been in their current position since August of 2017, but their work in the field started long before that. In August of 2002, they began working as the Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The University of Manchester. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the budget, providing leadership and operational management, developing and delivering strategy, and chairing or being deputy chair of a number of committees. They were also responsible for internationalisation, marketing and branding, and the University's cultural institutions.

In their time at The University of Manchester, New role made many significant contributions. They successfully attracted external funding for the Sir Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials, the National Graphene Institute, and the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre. They also oversaw a number of University estates projects. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, The University of Manchester thrived during their time there.

Now, as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator (FSE) at Queen Mary University, New role is continuing their work in supporting and connecting with alumni. They are also working on new initiatives to engage alumni in the life of the University and to support students as they transition into alumni themselves. Thanks to New role's experience and expertise, Queen Mary University is ensuring that its alumni remain connected and engaged long after they graduate.

New role reports to New role, Alumni Engagement Manager (Faculties). They are on a team with Nathalie Grey - Alumni Engagement Coordinator (FHSS), Sara Gazi - Alumni Engagement Coordinator (FMD), and Hannah Dormor - Alumni Engagement Coordinator (FHSS).
