New role

The current Head of Operations at Queen Mary University, New role has had an extensive and impressive career thus far. Starting out as the Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The University of Manchester, New role was responsible for a £1bn annual budget and provided leadership and operational management across the entire university. In this role, New role also chaired or was deputy chair of several important committees, including the HR Sub-Committee, Change and IT Projects Sub-Committee, and the Internationalisation Strategy Group.

New role's next position was Head of Operations at Queen Mary University, where they are currently responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the university. In this role, New role has been successful in attracting external funding exceeding £175m for graphene and advanced materials research. Additionally, New role has been responsible for a number of large estates projects at Queen Mary University.
