Luisa Benedetto

Luisa Benedetto serves as the Assistant Director of Government Affairs at Queens Library since March 2017, and previously held the role of Government Affairs Manager. Prior to this, Luisa worked as Chief Of Staff for Council Member Ritchie Torres at the New York City Council from January 2014 to March 2017, overseeing the budget process and assisting with committee preparations. Earlier experiences include roles as a Special Assistant in the same office, a Legal Assistant at The Law Office of Edward L. Koester, a Researcher at Integreon, and an intern at SUNY Maritime College. Luisa holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Queens College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Purchase College, SUNY.
