Alexia Campoverde has extensive experience as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens District Attorney's Office since February 2018, specializing in prosecuting violent felony cases. In the Career Criminal Major Crimes Bureau, Alexia successfully prosecuted a high-profile jury trial resulting in guilty verdicts and manages a caseload of over 50 violent felony indictments. Previous roles include first chairing multiple jury and bench trials in the Felony Trial Bureau 1, managing a high-volume caseload of 80+ felonies, and overseeing legal procedures in urgent scenarios while drafting search warrants. Earlier experience includes serving as a Legal Assistant at Simonetti & Associates, managing separation cases and conducting legal research. Alexia holds a Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Pace University.
