Catherine Clémot

Catherine Clémot has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Catherine is currently working as a Casual Academic at The University of Queensland since December 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) from 2013 to 2021, including Principal Education Officer, Principal Project Officer, and Panellist. Before joining QCAA, they worked as a Teacher at Brisbane Girls Grammar School from 2006 to 2020. In this role, they had leadership responsibilities, participated in conferences and workshops, and managed science and mathematics education programs.

Catherine Clémot completed their Bachelor of Education (Secondary) degree, specializing in mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, SOSE, psychology, gifted & talented, and differentiation at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2002 to 2005. In 2004 to 2005, they also obtained a Certificate of Religious Education at the Australian Catholic University. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Education degree at The University of Queensland. Catherine Clémot completed their secondary education at All Hallows' School from 1996 to 2000.
