Kate McKenzie

Kate McKenzie has a diverse work experience that includes roles at Grace Lutheran College and the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA). At Grace Lutheran College, they served as the Head of Teaching and Learning, Deputy Head of Teaching and Learning, and Head of Department - Business Education. Kate'sresponsibilities included developing and quality assuring policies, procedures, work programs, and units of work, as well as moderating standards, monitoring student progress, and supervising and developing teachers. At QCAA, they worked as a Chief Marker, Lead Confirmer, Lead Endorser, and Panel Member, contributing to the assessment and evaluation of student work.

Kate McKenzie attended the Queensland University of Technology from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Business Teacher Education. Prior to their university education, they attended St Margarets Anglican Girls School. In addition to their degree, Kate also holds certifications in various areas, including Business, Information Digital Media & Technology, Training and Assessment, and Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy.
