Cynthia Kennedy

Cynthia Kennedy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public service and policy development within the Queensland Government. Currently serving as the Director of the Office for Women since August 2023, Cynthia has previously held significant roles including Director of Partnerships and Engagement at the Department of Justice and Attorney-General QLD, and Chief of Staff for various ministers. Notable contributions include guiding strategic directions to enhance employment and training participation across Queensland, as well as managing key policy initiatives in health, education, and community services. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Queensland, earned between 1994 and 2000.
