Kieran Cusack

Kieran Cusack has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kieran currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Queensland Hydro starting from 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Snowy Hydro Limited where they held various positions including Project Director for Snowy 2.0 and General Manager of Generation Operations. Before joining Snowy Hydro Limited, they worked as an Area Manager at both Lower Tumut and Kosciuszko. In 2008, Kieran worked as a Plant Manager at James Hardie Building Products. Prior to that, they held roles at Holcim (US) Inc. and Holcim NZ (Fiji Industries Ltd) as Plant Manager and Operations Manager respectively. Kieran also worked as a Consultant Engineer at Holcim Group Support from 2001 to 2003. Kieran's career started as a Process Engineer/Project Manager at Queensland Cement Limited in 1997.

Kieran Cusack has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. In 2007, they attended a Management Seminar at the University of St.Gallen. Recently, in 2021, they completed a program called "Credential of Readiness" at Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, they hold the certification of "Fellow" from Engineers Australia.
