Paul Geoffrey Smith has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the energy and construction industries. Paul Geoffrey started their career at Snowy Hydro Limited as a Project Manager and later worked as a Water Services Engineer and Graduate Civil Engineer. Paul Geoffrey then joined Brookfield Multiplex as a Cadet, gaining construction experience on a residential project. Paul returned to Snowy Hydro Limited in various roles, including Civil Maintenance Engineer, Snowy 2.0 Civil Engineer, and Senior Manager - Projects & Strategy. Paul Geoffrey played a key role in the Snowy 2.0 project, leading the approvals process and overseeing engineering and construction. Paul Geoffrey also co-founded and directed Crux Productions, a youth-run multimedia company specializing in event promotion. Paul is currently working as the Head of Integration at Queensland Hydro. Paul Geoffrey Smith attended Carey Baptist Grammar School from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate degree. In 2014, they participated in an exchange program at Queen's University, focusing on Arts.
