Gaven Head

Gaven Head is an experienced professional in the rugby industry, currently serving as the General Manager of Community Rugby for Queensland Rugby Union (Queensland Reds) since July 2019, and as an Administrator for the Paul Ramsay Foundation - Rugby Grant since January 2018, where Gaven has developed grant funding guidelines and initiated successful programs to promote rugby in schools. Previous roles include General Manager at Sunnybank Rugby, where Gaven managed substantial asset growth and established key partnerships, as well as serving as a Community Rugby Manager and various coaching roles within Queensland Rugby Union and educational institutions. Gaven holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Movement Studies and additional diplomas in Education and Leadership and Management from The University of Queensland and Capital Training Institute, respectively.
