Jed Whitaker

Jed Whitaker has extensive experience in security management, having held positions such as Manager Security Operations at the Department of Parliamentary Services from 2013 to 2019, and Security and Business Continuity Manager at ActewAGL from 2019 to 2022. Jed then moved to Urban Utilities in 2022, where they served as Protective Security Lead and then as Protective Security Manager. Currently, they hold the role of Security and Business Interruption Manager at ActewAGL starting in 2023.

Jed Whitaker obtained a Diploma of Security in Government/Security Risk Management from Australian Forensic Services in 2019. Prior to that, in 2017, they completed a Certificate IV Training and Assessment at Canberra Institute of Technology. Jed'seducation background includes a focus on Government Security/Security Risk Management and Training and Assessment. In 1998, they pursued studies in Sociology at the University of Newcastle. Additionally, Jed Whitaker obtained a certification as a Gallagher Security Advanced Access Administrator in November 2022.
