Fiona Blight is a highly experienced professional in resource consents and planning, having worked with various councils and organizations in New Zealand. Currently serving as the Manager Resource Consents at Queenstown Lakes District Council, Fiona has also held roles such as Team Leader, Senior Planner, and Planner at Auckland Council. With a background in both public and private sectors, Fiona's expertise lies in managing commercial and technical risks for clients and organizations, as well as ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met on projects. Additionally, Fiona has been actively involved in promoting the planning profession and professional development of planners through their role as a committee member at the New Zealand Planning Institute.
