Mat Woods

Mat Woods currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Destination Queenstown Inc since June 2022 and has held the role of Director at Racers Edge Wanaka since April 2013. Additionally, Mat Woods is a Board Trustee for Regional Tourism New Zealand and a Board Member of Sport Otago until November 2024. From October 2016 to October 2022, Mat Woods was a Board Member of Snow Sports NZ and served as General Manager of New Zealand Fine Touring Group briefly from December 2021 to June 2022. Mat Woods held the position of Chair at Lake Wanaka Tourism from October 2019 to June 2022 and was the General Manager of Queenstown Experiences at RealNZ for a short period in late 2021. Prior to these roles, Mat Woods was Head of Sales & Services at both Treble Cone Ski Area and Cardrona Alpine Resort from February 2020 to September 2021 and January 2016 to September 2021, respectively. Mat Woods holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Otago, attended from 1992 to 1993.
