Ulrike Janich

Ulrike Janich has extensive work experience in software development. Ulrike started their career in 2007 as a Web Development Intern at studio.201 Software GmbH. In 2009, they worked as a Making-of Photographer at WebUni Deutschland e.V. From 2011 to 2016, they were a PHP Software Developer at Ausschnitt Medienbeobachtung, where they focused on building and developing a Media Monitoring and Analysis Portal. Ulrike was responsible for creating complex search filters and displaying results on the dashboard. During this time, they also developed an RSS interface. In 2016, they joined Quentic as a Senior Software Developer (Backend). Their responsibilities included the development of an authentication service according to the OIDC RFCs, modernizing legacy code using current technologies such as Symfony, and conducting training sessions for colleagues. Ulrike also served as a mentor in the onboarding process.

Ulrike Janich holds a Diplom degree in Informatik from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. Additionally, in the year 2011, they pursued further education at GPB Berlin, completing a Weiterbildung program in Adobe Flash and Action Script 3.0.
