Bonnie Carberry

Bonnie Carberry has over 20 years of work experience in the field of UX/UI design and product development. Bonnie'smost recent role was as the Principal Product Designer at Query, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr Principal Product Designer at Secureworks from 2022 to 2023. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Director of Platform UX at TRUEFORT.

Before these positions, Bonnie had a long tenure at Akamai Technologies, where they held various roles from 2013 to 2021. These roles included Principal UX/UI Design Lead - Cloud Security, Principal UX/UI Designer - Cloud Security, Senior User Experience Designer Cloud Security, and Senior UX/UI Visual Designer. Bonnie joined Akamai Technologies in 2013 as a Senior UX/UI Visual Designer.

Bonnie began their career as a UX/UI Designer, Animator, and Director - Consultant, working independently for various clients from 2001 to 2013. Bonnie led brand strategy and collaborated with technical and content developers to design corporate websites and enterprise applications for clients such as Intuit, Harcourt Brace, Pfizer, and Subaru, among others.

Bonnie also held positions at VetNetwork as an Interactive Design Director from 2007 to 2010, Emagine as a Creative Director/Consultant from 1998 to 2007, and MullenLowe U.S. as a User Experience Designer from 1999 to 2007.

Bonnie's early experience includes working at Akamai Technologies as a Usability UI/Visual Designer from 1998 to 2001, where they designed user interfaces for CDN applications and conducted usability studies with users.

Bonnie Carberry attended Penn State University from 1986 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine Art with a minor in Psychology.
