Maciej (Matt) Małysz is a seasoned investor and partner at Inovo.vc, focusing on devtools and software infrastructure startups at the Pre-Seed to Series A stages across Central and Eastern Europe. Current investment roles include Pre-Seed Investor at Quesma, a platform re-inventing database application usage, and at a stealth startup specializing in software supply chain security. Additionally, Maciej has invested in Spacelift, an infrastructure-as-code management platform, Pathway, an event processing platform for data transformations, and Archbee, which combines documentation portals with Generative AI. Maciej is also a Seed Investor in AI Clearing, a company that leverages AI for construction progress tracking. Educational qualifications include a CEMS Master's Degree from HEC Paris and a Master's in Accounting and Finance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Maciej has served on the supervisory boards of ECC Games S.A. and Brand24, both of which underwent IPOs during tenure. We help customers innovate faster by reshaping how applications are built and connected to their DBs. Quesma database gateway enables development teams to modernize and evolve application architecture. Modernizing the core of the application stack - the database - is hard. Companies are locked to old, ineffective, costly DB platforms and are scared of trying something new due to enormous risk, increased interim cost and never-ending push for innovation. We want to make their life easier by finishing the microservice revolution in DB realm: un-bundle clients' app stack from the DB engine by introducing a smart DB gateway/proxy in between.
