Randy Rempel has extensive work experience in the software industry. Randy began their career in 1988 at Palliser Furniture, where they implemented and managed an ISO 9001 Quality Management System. From 1996 to 2003, they worked at Keane as a Principal Consultant, leading application development projects and mentoring team members.

In 2003, Rempel joined Paisley Consulting as a Lead Developer, where they developed SOX-compliance Domino web applications and managed a team of developers. Randy then worked at Binary Tree (now part of Quest) from 2005 to 2010 as a Solutions Architect, consulting on legacy application migrations and writing Statements of Work for professional services.

From 2010 to 2015, Rempel worked at Dell in various roles. As a Senior Product Manager, they managed a migration product that significantly increased sales revenue. In 2015, Rempel joined FormTrek as the Managing Director, providing a solution to transform legacy InfoPath forms. Randy then returned to Quest Software in 2019 as a Principal Product Manager, managing a portfolio of content migration products with an annual revenue of over $25 million. Randy conducted market research, collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve products, and defined product strategy based on stakeholder and customer feedback.
