Uday Prasade

Uday Prasade is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in simulation-driven product development and structural analysis. Currently serving as Principal at SimDrive Engineering since April 2015, Uday focuses on advancing simulation technologies to optimize product design for manufacturing and assembly. Additional roles include Senior Lead Structures Engineer at Quest Defense since February 2023 and prior positions as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Safer World Group, Analysis Engineer at BAE Systems, Cummins Inc., and EMD, as well as Product Engineer/FEA at Accuride Corporation. Uday also brings a background in application engineering from MSC Software and structural analysis from Electro-Motive Diesel and CNH. Uday holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mysore.
