Michael Kai Mayeda

Michael Kai Mayeda, Ph.D., PMP, is a Senior Program Manager at Quest Diagnostics since July 2021 and co-founder of Mayeda's Little Walnuts, LLC, focusing on real estate investment and management. With previous experience as a Project Manager at Imagion Biosystems, Inc. and Molecular Express, Inc., Mayeda has led R&D for vaccine and drug products, implemented quality management systems, and managed the construction of cleanroom facilities. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College, complemented by a Quality Assurance and Control Certificate from UC San Diego Extended Studies. Mayeda has also co-founded SAGE Energy Solutions, LLC, winning recognition for innovative fuel cell technology applications.
