Mirko Pieropan

Mirko Pieropan is a Senior Editor at Nature Portfolio, with experience as an Associate Editor and Locum Associate Editor since September 2021. Prior to this role, Mirko served as a PhD Candidate in Physics at Politecnico di Torino from November 2017 to July 2021 and undertook visiting research positions at the Edmond and Lily Safra Center and the Racah Institute of Physics in August and September 2017. Mirko worked as an Ingénieur de recherche at CNRS from October 2016 to September 2017 and completed a research internship at the École normale supérieure in early 2016. Mirko holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Politecnico di Torino, a Master's degree from Université Paris Cité, an International Master's degree in Physics of Complex Systems from Politecnico di Torino, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Università di Trento.
