Marydee Marchan

Marydee Marchan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Process Improvement Technologist at Consorcio Oleaginoso Portuguesa, S.A. COPOSA. From 2001 to 2002, they were a Quality Technologist at Barrufet. In 2004, they joined Soft Gel Technologies as a Product Development professional.

In 2005, Marydee Marchan started working at Mars, first as a Quality Technologist, then as a Product Development Scientist, and finally as a Process Development Engineer until 2013.

In 2013, they moved to Amway, where they held various positions such as Sr. Process Development Engineer in Supplement Product Development R&D, Principal Scientist in Nutrition Global Discovery - Innovation R&D, and finally, Principal Scientist and Technical Manager for Nutrition Growth Platforms for Millennials and Kids until 2021.

After leaving Amway, Marydee Marchan joined SmartyPants Vitamins in 2021 as a Product Development Director (R&D), before transitioning to their current role as Director of Research Development at Quest Nutrition in 2023.

Marydee Marchan earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Food Technology from Universitat Ramon Llull, which they completed between 2000 and 2002. Marydee also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Zulia, which they obtained in 1999. In addition, they completed a Project Management Certification program at Cal State-Dominguez Hill (CSUDH). Marydee Marchan also holds a Technical Management Certificate from the Technical Management Program at UCLA Extension, with a field of study in Business/Technical.
