Barbara-Ann Clifton (Barbi)

Barbara-Ann (Barbi) Clifton has extensive experience in academics and communications, currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at The College at Brockport since August 2012, while also working as a Writer/Editor for Clifton Communications since April 1997. In addition, Barbara-Ann has contributed as an Item Writer for Questar Assessment, Inc. since January 2014 and previously for Measurement Incorporated from September 2008 to April 2015. Earlier professional roles include Account Executive at Eric Mower & Associates, Director of Public Relations for the Boy Scouts of America, and PR and Admissions Director at The Aquinas Institute of Rochester. Barbara-Ann began a career in journalism as a Staff Writer for The Courier-Journal. Educationally, Barbara-Ann obtained a Master of Arts in Literature from The College at Brockport (2012-2015), a Bachelor of Science in Newspaper from Syracuse University (1987-1989), and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Cayuga County Community College (1986-1987), with additional studies at SUNY Geneseo from 1985 to the present.
